Food For Good Meal-Box Sponsorship
Food For Good actively promotes food-waste reduction, recovering edible surplus ingredients and turning them into hot meals for the elderly and people in need, while advocating a green-eating culture. Inedible food waste is recycled into organic fertiliser, reducing waste. We operate community kitchens in Tuen Mun, Yau Tong and Tung Tau, producing around 3,000 hot meal boxes every day. We also distribute donated surplus food across the city — in recent months, nearly 6,000 kg in total. Our mobile education truck visits districts to introduce food-waste recycling, promote green-eating culture, and explain sorting and Hong Kong's food-waste situation through interactive games.

Campus Food For Good
Food For Good believes the virtue of cherishing food and reducing waste should be cultivated from a young age. The "Campus Food For Good" programme helps students understand why valuing food and handling food waste properly matter. Beyond encouraging students to practise green-eating habits, the programme helps schools recycle food waste into organic compost used in school gardens. FFG staff visit schools to help teachers and students operate food-waste recycling systems and composting. We also host talks on food and food-waste issues.

Food-Waste Workshop
The Campus FFG programme provides schools with a free home food-waste machine and two sets of food-waste bins, showing students how to turn lunch-box leftovers into compost using the machine and the bins. A donation of HK$6,000 or HK$800 provides one school with one food-waste machine or two sets of bins.
