OUTREACH PROGRAMME
School and organisation visits, talks, and public engagement sessions.
School and organisation visits, talks, and public engagement sessions.
FFG's visits and talks fall into two streams. Site visits bring participants to our community kitchens, the recycling centre, and our transitional housing projects — a chance to see the three programme lines (food rescue, waste recycling, transitional housing) in action. Talks are aimed at schools and community groups and are led by programme managers or senior volunteers, covering food-waste handling, community mobilisation, and sustainable living in practice. Sessions run from 45 minutes to 2 hours and can be tailored to curriculum themes; participants receive an e-certificate and priority sign-up for FFG's volunteer programme.
