On 22 September 2015, Food For Good received the Social Welfare Organisation Silver Award in the fourth CLP GREENPLUS Award programme. Themed "Let’s All Become Energy Saving Inspectors," the programme encouraged employees to propose energy-saving ideas and inspire others to join. Judges selected 64 winning businesses and organisations from more than 5,000 entrants.

CLP launched the programme in 2012. Applications grew from 400 in the first year to over 5,000 this year. A new "Energy Saving Inspector" category was introduced to recognise employees who actively promote environmental awareness.

This award was presented to Food For Good as a whole organisation, not to a single venue or kitchen.
