Food For Good Limited ("FFG") is committed to making this website accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the level of accessibility set out below.

Conformance level

This website targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA as set out in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Measures we take

  1. Semantic structure: pages use proper heading levels, landmarks, and lists so screen-reader navigation is predictable.

  2. Keyboard access: every interactive element is reachable and operable without a mouse. Focus indicators remain visible at all times.

  3. Text alternatives: meaningful images carry descriptive alt text. Decorative images are hidden from assistive tech.

  4. Colour and contrast: body copy meets the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required for AA. Information is never conveyed by colour alone.

  5. Resizable text: layouts adapt to 200% zoom without truncation or overlap.

  6. Forms: every field has a programmatic label; errors are announced inline and summarised on submit.

  7. Motion: all non-essential animation respects prefers-reduced-motion. No content auto-plays.

  8. Language: every page declares its lang attribute. Mixed-language fragments wrap themselves in lang so screen readers switch voices correctly.

Limitations and alternatives

  • Embedded third-party widgets (online donation form, map) may not fully conform. We provide alternative contact channels by phone and email on our Contact page.

  • Older archive posts (originally published before this migration) may use markup that is not yet fully accessible. We will remediate on request.
