On 20 March, 2016, "Hong Kong Organic Resource Centre" organized "Organic Day 2016" in Chater Road and at Chater Garden. "Food For Good" set up a booth to promote the recycling of food waste with home use food waste processors and kitchen waste bins, converting the food waste to compost for planting to reduce environmental pollution.
